Baby bottom cake - Tie Dye

I love it when customers give me new challenges!
This one was a baby shower cake that I had done before... but the customer wanted a tie dye blanket.
Now, I know how to tie dye material, but fondant is another story.
I had fun experimenting and learning how!

Gator Cake for a Swamp People party

Every year I allow my boys to pic the theme of their party and then we design their cake together. (Advantages of having a cake decorating mom, huh?)

This year they decided on a "Swamp People" party.
When they decided they wanted an alligator, my youngest piped up and said, "You are gonna make it with it's mouth open, right mom?" 
How could I deny this birthday boy his request?

This was my first attempt at a buttercream transfer.  I was VERY happy with how it turned out!  I think the birthday boy will be equally happy.
